VOICE THREAD

With VoiceThread, group conversations are collected and shared in one place from anywhere in the world. A VoiceThread is a multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos

It inspires collaboration and expression with 5 innovative ways to comment. You can collect the voices of an entire group on a single slide by computer microphone, telephone, text, audio file (MP3/WAV), and webcam.
Simple voice and video commenting takes place right in your web browser with no software to install.

Voice Thread could be shared with friends, students, and colleagues for them to record comments as well. They can also be embedded..

I have embedded here a Voice Thread assigned to my pilot students.

Their comments had to take into account the factors listed below and reflect the application of material frelated to the learning theories to which they had been exposed.
  • Account for the positive attitude of these students.
  • What do you think they doing? Give a possible reason
  • Why are they looking so enthusiastic?
  • To what kind of classroom do they belong?
  • What type of teaching strategies are likely to be used in their classroom.
  • Let us share all these ideas in a Voice Thread.

RECORDR.TV

Recordr is a web based audio / video recording tool which allowed me to make recordings using a microphone and a webcam, and then embed them in my website. There was no need to register or install anything. Features include:
  • Quick online audio and video recording.
  • Upload and share your recording with others.
  • Use the bookmarklet to start recording.
  • Record audio messages if you don’t have a webcam.
  • No need to download or install anything.

I used this application as well as the one below, to provide pronounciation practice for my language students.
